Crown Woods, unlike many London schools, is fortunate in having twelve acres (or about thirty hectares) of on-site playing fields. These include two hockey, one rugby and three soccer pitches and in Summer an athletics track, long jump pit, softball, rounders, and all-weather cricket pitches. In addition three hard tennis courts convert to netball courts in Winter.

The Sports Hall of five gymnasia provides facilities for most indoor sports including basketball, dance, gymnastics, aerobics and trampolining. The local area provides excellent cross-country courses.

Our sports teams have been successful in local and regional tournaments and practices are arranged during lunch time and after school. Individual sports are also encouraged. We are proud of the national competitors who are amongst our students. Crown Woods teams are frequent winners of London and county competitions.

In recognition of the outstanding work in promoting Physical Education for everyone the school has received the prestigious, National Sports Mark Award.
