Curriculum Details

Significant developments in the KS3 curriculum are in place for September 2008 with a developed integrated and collaborative approach to deep learning through cross-curricular links, common thinking skills and teaching strategies, the expansion of creativity, internationalism and business enterprise and student voice.

There are 25 periods per week, each lasting one hour.

All students will be offered Careers Guidance, PSE and RE. The latter will include Key Skills for the level 3 courses.

Students may also take part in PE and the Community Sports Leadership Award.
